(Per Bishop Konderla’s Decree of March 18, 2020)
All public Masses will be suspended throughout the Diocese of Tulsa beginning Friday, March 20, until Wednesday, April 8, 2020. “The faithful are now dispensed from their Sunday Mass Obligation during this time of trial.” During this absence from personal presence in the Mass, the faithful are invited to cultivate their spiritual lives through other devotions. One good resource that can be used is the free iBreviary app, which has many devotionals in various languages including the Liturgy of the Hours. St. Therese will be live-streaming Sunday Mass in English at 10:00 a.m. and in Spanish at 12:00 Noon. In addition, bilingual Adoration will be live-streamed on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
Communal Penance Service, which was scheduled for Thursday, March 19, is cancelled. Father Ernesto will hear individual confessions on Saturdays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Sundays from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., or by appointment. Confessions will be heard in Fr. Ernesto’s office (next to the confessional) to comply with the 6-foot distance requirement. People waiting for confession should wait inside the sanctuary and maintain a safe 6-foot distance from each other.
All Religious Education classes, including youth and RCIA, are cancelled until further notice.
Friday Stations of the Cross, in both English and Spanish, are cancelled.
The office will be available by telephone only, 918-371-2704, during regular business hours from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, until further notice. Please do not leave voice messages since no one will be physically in the office to listen to them. If you call, and no one answers, please try again. For after-hour emergencies, you may call the rectory at 918-553-1388.
